I saw the idea for these bunnies and eggs in a magazine and decided to use them as an inspiration for making these.
Supplies:
- wood cutouts of bunny and eggs
- fabric
- Elmer's glue all
- hot glue gun
- iron on interfacing
- ribbons, trims, and flowers
- paint
- paint brush
- rectangular wood stands for bunny and two eggs
Steps:
- These are the pictures I saw in a magazine. You can either buy wood cutouts at a craft store or cut them out with a scroll saw. My husband cut these out for me after I found a pattern online.
- Paint the edges of the eggs and the bunny with white paint. Paint all sides of the little wood stands. Let dry.
- Meanwhile, using pattern that was used to cut out wood shapes for the bunny and eggs, cut out a front and back for each egg and the bunny out of desired fabric. Cut out interfacing with same pattern. Iron interfacing to fabric pieces.
- Once the wooden items are dry, using Elmer's Glue All, paint the glue over the front and back surface of the wood items. Let dry. Trim anything that might overlap. Glue ribbons, trim, flowers, leaves, etc. to the eggs and bunny with hot glue gun or Elmer's Glue all. Screw the wooden items into the stand.
