Love wonton wrappers because they're so versatile. I always have a pack in the freezer in case I have a snack attack. I've made fillings from all kinds of fruits (canned and fresh), cheeses, ground meats, veggies, cold cuts, etc. In fact, any leftover can be a filling. Just put the leftovers in a food processor and pulverize into a paste. It's a great way to sneak healthy veggies into a snack. My favorite ingredient is oatmeal.

It's a great neutral low calorie filler that adds fiber and bulk, thus saving you money. In fact, when I use ground meats, i.e. I mix in an equal amount of oatmeal, i.e. ½ lb beef + ½ lb oatmeal. If you like a bit of crunch, make the pastries immediately, while the oatmeal is still hard. Put in the fridge for a few hours if you want the oatmeal to absorb the meat/fruit/veggie juices and soften.

CORRECTION: I meant ½ CUP beef + ½ CUP oatmeal, not ½ pound. It should be equal VOLUME, not equal weight.

For a low fat, lower calorie version, omit the oil. Spritz the pastries with non-stick cooking spray and bake or pan fry.
