Silver Post Medal for All Time! 293 Posts This will show you how to turn any beautiful bead into a pendant for a necklace. It is quick, easy and fun! You may then decide to add some bling to the bottom, it's up to you! :)
Total Time: About 20 minutes
Supplies:
- large bead of choice
- brass jewelry wire
- various beads
- wire cutters
- round needle nosed pliers
- pliers
Steps:
- Cut a small length of wire. The length depends on the height of your bead. Make it about 1" longer. Start to curl the end into a loop with the needle nosed pliers.
- Thread your bead.
- Now repeat with the top portion.
- You may stop here and simply attach this with a jump ring to a necklace.
- Or you may desire to add some extra bling to the bottom! :) Cut another length of wire 10" long. Thread desired beads.
- Cross the top ends and wrap them around each other a couple times.
- You will now twist them about halfway up.
- Now take one of the wires and wrap all the way back down.
- Curl the remaining end with the needle nosed pliers.
- Connect the pieces together with a jump ring, or make your own.
- Pendant complete.
- Have fun wearing it! :)
