Easy Crab Cakes

A plate of fried crab cakes.If you have canned crab meat on hand, these crab cakes are extremely easy to make, quick and tasty! You will have a meal ready in less than 10 minutes. (1 pound can yields 6 generous sized crab cakes.)

Prep Time: 3 minutes

Cook Time: 7 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

Yield: 6 crab cakes

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp Mayo
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Dry mustard
  • 2 tsp Dried parsley
  • 1 lb Crab meat
  • 3 Tbsp Panko crumbs
A can of crab meat.
 

Steps:

  1. In a large bowl, add mayo, egg, salt, dry mustard, dried parsley, panko crumbs and mix.
  2. Adding egg and flavorings to a bowl.
     
    Adding bread crumbs to the egg mixture.
     
  3. Fold crab meat in and coat with mixture.
  4. Adding crab to the mixture.
     
    The crab mixture in a bowl.
     
  5. Line baking pan with parchment paper. Evenly divide and shape into 6 crab cakes.
  6. Making uniform patties of the crab mixture.

  7. Put oven to broil setting for about 7 minutes or until ready.
