If you mix 1 part Dawn dish washing liquid with 2 parts hydrogen peroxide you have the best spot remover! This is probably the only cleaner you will ever need. Either spray or pour on the spot and watch it disappear. Some stains you will need to leave on for awhile. Rinse when it disappears. Love it, it really works.

Add same amount of baking soda as peroxide and you've got oxiclean.
Are you able to use any kind of dish soap. I prefer not to use Dawn since it has a number of ingredients that are harmful to the environment (which is ironic considering their advertising ploys)?

Most of the time just the Dawn will take out stains or grease spots on most anything even if you miss it and throw it into the dryer and dry it. Just put directly on the spot let stand or even place directly in the wash and it will be gone.
Does this work equally as well on dark colored clothing, or does the peroxide bleach it out?
Can Dawn and peroxide mixture be used on dark colors?
Is this safe for colored clothes also?
If the peroxide doesnt fizz it it no longer good
