Here is a quick and easy way to make a pan of chocolate fudge. No cooking required.
Total Time: 15 minutes
Yield: 8 inch square pan
Source: My sister-she can't remember where she found it.
Ingredients:
- 1 can (16 oz) chocolate fudge cake frosting
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Steps:
- Butter an 8 inch square pan or line with parchment paper.
- Put chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl. Partially melt in your microwave. This should take from 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Stir in can of frosting and continue melting in the microwave until the mixture is smooth. I do it in 20 second increments. Stirring after each 20 seconds.
- Remove from microwave and stir in vanilla, salt, and nuts if you are using them.
- Pour immediately into the prepared pan and let set. If you are in a hurry you can put the pan in the refrigerator.
- After they have set, cut into pieces and enjoy.

I'm sorry. I didn't think of melting chocolate as cooking. You are probably correct, anyway, it is an easy, fast, and tasty way to make fudge.
