At home we usually prefer having bread for breakfast. But since we are living in a small village where a bakery doesn't exist, we tend to buy bread in the city and just heat or toast it in the morning. In short, we rarely have freshly baked bread at home. Lately, I have been baking this bread and making little innovations to it. There is no need to knead the dough in this recipe, eliminating the most exhausting and time consuming part of baking bread.

Prep Time: 2 hours 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20-25 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours and 35 minutes
Yield: 14
Ingredients:
3 cups flour
4 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp yeast
1/4 cup melted butter
1 piece egg
1 cup warm water
30 ml milk (optional)
Mayonnaise or any filling (optional)
Steps:
Put 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon yeast together in a bowl.
Add warm water and let sit for 5 minutes. You will see bubbles after that time.
In another bowl, start mixing the flour with the remaining sugar and salt. Then add the melted butter.

Pour the yeast mixture into the flour. Mix until well combined.
Add milk and continue mixing. If dough is too sticky add a little more flour.
Set aside. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
After one hour, place the dough in a flat surface dusted with flour.

Cut into small pieces then start rolling them into balls.
If you wish to add filling just flatten each piece and add your desired filling. I added mine with mayonnaise.
Put the sides together to close and pinch to seal the bread. Carefully roll into balls.
Place the balls in a greased bread loaf or cake pan.

Cover the pan and set aside again for 1 hour. The balls will rise and become bigger.
Beat the egg and brush over the bread balls.
Bake the bread 20-25 minutes in 180 C (350 F). and you're done. Enjoy fresh hot baked bread!
