Bake cake as directed. Remove from oven. Cool 5 minutes. Cover with pineapple (juice and all). Make vanilla pudding as directed. Carefully spread over pineapple. Cover pineapple with Cool Whip (as much as you like) Keep refrigerated. It keeps perfectly for several days.

I don't stand a "snowball's chance in south Florida" of losing weight when I keep finding delicious-sounding recipes like this to try. And it's a favorite too since it's pineapple. OK, I'm throwing in the towel, and plan to die as round as a butterball, with a great big smile on my face.
It might not be quite as dramatic as this sounds, but it's what enters my mind. There is no other source of the variety for the best recipes that our own Thrifty Fun has.
Another thumbs up, Keeper. Thank you so much for sharing.

This sounds so cool and delicious. It's easy enough for the most basic cook too. This is a great recipe to teach young people how to make great desserts. I plan to use it to teach a few around here, then I'll enjoy helping them eat it. :-)
Thank you Keeper. You'll be getting my vote.
Yum! I love pineapple. I'm going to have to break down and chase hubby out of the kitchen, just to try this one. Thanks!
Hmm, sounds great, and easy for my 11 and 5 year olds to make, thanks.
With pineapple in it, you just know it's going to be good.
Thanks for a very easy and yummy recipe. This one gets my vote. ww
Just the type of dessert I was looking for. It's going to go just fine with
my roast pork dinner on Sunday. Mashed potatoes, gravy, a big tossed
Thanks so much.
