I found that the Magic Erasers from the Dollar Stores are a quarter price of those from the regular supermarkets. They also last every bit as long if not longer. To make it even more economical, simply cut one in half. I found that a half an eraser lasts every bit as long as the whole one.

Yep. I do the same with the dollar store scrubbing sponges with the green side. They are easier to get into little places and can be tossed every Sunday. I spend 1.00 for 12 weeks of clean sponges and that is savings enough to toss it.
I wish you would design a magic eraser mop to clean laminate floors etc. a friend of mine got on his hands and knees and scrubbed his laminate flooring with a magic eraser it was amazing how new the floors looked but it was time consuming.

I looked up magic eraser mops on Amazon. They're not cheap and of curse, you have to buy refills. Magic Erasers don't last all that long so I'm wondering how long a Magic Eraser mophead might last.
