I have two small dogs. I have been cleaning urine spots on my carpet with a solution of 1 part rubbing alcohol and 2 parts water. It works so well. My dogs are always sniffing the floor. Will this have an effect on them if they inhale it all the time?

I don't have an answer for you, I was just wondering what breed of dog this is. It's SO cute and looks really friendly! I'm looking for a small dog and I have 2 young grandchildren, ages 4 and 5. How are your dogs with kids?
I don't know either, but would love to know what kind of a dog this is, also. Mine looks just like it in the head area.
The alcohol can't be good for the dogs. I always use a solution of vinegar & water. It cleans well and gets rid of the smell completely.
Anytime you use a chemical around your animals it is a good idea to check with a vet. Alcohol has a very fast evaporation rate. From that standpoint I would think it ok to use. I have used white vinegar with cleaning many things around the house. It is a good odor remover (loses 'vinegar' smell quickly) and a mild acid.
