Egg Carton Miniature Furniture - table and two chairs This is a super easy and fun way to make tables and chairs for small dolls or for a doll house. Children will not only love to play with these, but can boast that they made or helped make them themselves.

If you have the time you can also cover them with paper or fabric and add little cushions, throws, and tablecloths.

Supplies:

paper/card egg cartons
scissors
white (PVA) glue
optional pretty coloured paper for the table top

Steps:

For the chair seat use a corner piece from the egg box. Cut roughly as shown by the black line on the photograph.

Trim it off neatly.

Now cut off one of the cones.

Trim the bottom and cut the top off approximately halfway down. This will be the chair base.

Apply PVA glue to the top edge.

Stick the chair seat to the base.

For the table, cut out another cone, trim the bottom straight and cut off about one third from the top to make it taller than the chair.

Cut a rectangle (or a circle if you prefer) from the lid for the table top.

Round off the corners and glue it to the base.

If your lid has print on it like mine, you might want to cover it with colourful paper. Turn the paper face down and draw around the table top.

Cut around the line you have drawn and glue the paper to the table top.

To make a high stool, make a chair in the same way, but do not cut the top off the cone.
