Make a cute paper weight to keep papers, or your kids' papers from flying everywhere especially when the fan is on or the air breeze is blowing in. You can apply this same concept to other animals too if you don't want a turtle.
Total Time: 10 minutes + drying time
Supplies:
- egg carton
- scissors
- paint/paint brush
- goggly eyes
- pom pom
- 4 flat glass gems
- construction paper
- hot glue
Steps:
- You'll need one egg carton piece. Paint and allow to dry. Once dried you can go around with scissors to trim off the excess.
- Lay out all supplies - flat glass gems, pom pom, and goggly eyes.
- Assemble all pieces with hot glue.
- Cut a piece of construction paper into a triangle to resemble a tail and glue onto the turtle. Ready to use as a paper weight!
