What brand is your electric blanket? I see Flashing FF light. But I did not see any P anywhere.

If you have a digital control, it is designed to flash "FF" on the display to notify you that a problem may have been discovered. Gradient controls and warming throw controls use a blinking indicator light for this purpose.
Follow the instructions on the flag tag to reset the control or follow the steps below.
Unplug the system from wall outlet.
Check that the control is well connected to the module.
I too have a P on the display. Mine is a Stella brand electric blanket i have turned it off yesterday and back on again, nothing changed. I have tried pressing all the buttons and nothing.
I have a wantell and hasn't worked proper since I got 3 days ago.
I get the flashing P as well. I have done everything that has been recommended. After seeing a post saying if you use a surge power bar it acts up.
"P" could be your pre-heat mode. The heat setting will change to the last setting after 1.5 hours. If you want to change to another setting during the pre-heat period, press the up
or down button.
I also did not see a P code in my research.
I would contact the company itself.
Yes please
Try unplugging it for several hours and then plug back in. My mattress pad heater does this once in awhile.
I have the same problem with a Jason electric blanket. Have you managed to solve the problem?
I GOT A SCE QUEEN SIZE BLANKET THE CONTOLS FLASHES ON P
I SWITCH IT OF NOT IN USE FOR OVER A YEAR
I have the same problem, when initially adjusting the heat I get into the flashing P mode for my Sable pad. My solution is to put a switch in series with the plug and turn it on and off.
