Eraser to Pick Up Fur

I am waiting on getting my hound glove for Bruno's coat. I remembered that pencil erasers, the square kind, tend to pick up hair. I was hoping that it might help some of his hair come out. So I gently went over him with this eraser, in short strokes, like you would do with the Furminator. He seemed to like it and it left his coat smooth and shiny.

It didn't work on Banjo, my other dog, who has short hair. I am not sure why it worked on Bruno, but it did. Lots of little short hairs came out with each small swipe of the eraser. I can't wait to use the hound glove, which I got really good reviews on this site, earlier in the week.

So here is Bruno, shiny and pretty.
