Extend Solid Air Freshener

You can extend those Renuzit or Air Wick solid air fresheners by placing the scented part in a potpourri pot. If the scented part doesn't slip right off the center spike, soak the bottom portion of the container (that has the hardened scented chunk) in water. Eventually it slips off and I discard the plastic case and continue soaking the scented chunk overnight. Then I just add both the water and the chunk into a potpourri pot that plugs in. It extends the pretty smell in the house!
