Fabric Donation for School?

I go to school at a post secondary school. It is for troubled youth and a lot of the people here don't have the money or the resources to learn to sew. I was hoping to start a sewing club and I am looking for places that have very low cost sewing items and fabric or that would be willing to donate sewing items and fabric to our school.
