I saw this idea in a magazine and decided to make one similar.
Supplies:
- fabric
- scissors
- pins
- thread
- sewing machine
- candy
Steps:
- Using an oval shape pattern piece (I found an oval shaped template and used it to make a pattern), pin and cut two oval shapes from fabric. Fold pattern in half and pin onto coordinating fabric and cut.
- Using pinking shears, cut across the top part of the half oval shape.
- Place the two oval pieces together, wrong sides together, add half oval shape, wrong sides together, to bottom half of oval. Sew close to the edge all the way around the three thicknesses. Using pinking shears, cut around the perimeter of the oval shape.
- Add candy to the little pocket for an Easter treat.
