Here's a simple little version of the popular game of tic tac toe, also known as noughts and crosses. Of course you can always play this at any time with just a pen and paper, but this pocket game is pretty and fun to carry around. I have used floral fabric. For a boy use plain colours or a more geometric design.
If you have never played before, it is an easy game that even young children can master. You need two players. One player is noughts and the other is crosses. Draw four lines crossing, two horizontally and two vertically. Take turns to draw symbols in the spaces (noughts or crosses) The first person to get three in a row, vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, wins.
For the game featured here, you use the different coloured buttons in place of the written symbols
