I have a Frister Rossmann 906 sewing machine from the 1970s. I can't get the feed dogs to go down. The switch and I guess the levers are stuck, but I don't see any way to access the levers. I'm using it for machine embroidery, but it would be better without the feed dogs. It is in perfect working order otherwise. I wish you could get good machine diagrams with purchases.

Give the machine a good oiling as a first step.
Here s a guide to what you do with frozen feed dogs.//stitchnerd.wordpress.com/2011/08/28/frozen-feed-dogs-on-a-vintage-sewing-machine/
If you are looking for an instruction manual for your sewing machine they have tons of them online. Here is the link to the manuals. You will need to search by the sewing machine maker. www.sewingmanuals.co.uk/
You may need to buy a new feed dog for the machine. If this is the case here is a site that sells all kinds of feed dogs so you can change yours out. There are normally two screws that hold the plate in place. You can remove these screws to access your feed dog. Here is the link for you www.helenhowes-sewingmachines.co.../
Thank you for the link and your time. Lucky for me the feed dogs are doing a great job. I just cant access the lever to disengage them /with the switch (lower them) for free motion embroidery.
This is why I dont want to buy a new machine, with no way of fixing little things and the poor build quality for doing upholstery/soft furnishings and jeans.
There are some videos on YouTube for your machine brand. I am sorry that I am not familiar with the brand, but I am very familiar with YouTube and have found videos to be helpful in fixing just about everything!
Here is a list, maybe one can get you on the right track:

Post with photos of your projects and if you found a fix!!
