My husband brought home a Pit Bull puppy. I have no clue how old she is. They said she was ready to go with us. I thought it wasn't till 8 weeks, but she looks so much smaller than 8 weeks. I'm thinking she's maybe 5 weeks going on 6 maybe. Anyways they sent her with milk substitute, but didn't tell him how much to give or how often. Tonight is night 3 and she hasn't eaten since this afternoon and has been sleeping. Do I need to wake her and feed her? I'm so lost with this new puppy. Also does anyone have any suggestions on what type of food to get her on dry or wet? Any help is appreciated also any tips for fleas and worms. I am trying to get her into a clinic that doesn't cost a fortune too.

From Cesar Milan: By around eight weeks of age your puppy should be eating solid food. Puppies should be fed three to four times a day therefore if you are currently feeding ¾ a cup of puppy food twice a day you should consider spacing it out by feeding ½ cup three times a day.
i don't think the person giving this away was very responsible in not sending instructions along with it. that is a huge red flag imo.
