I have a 6 week old Pit. He is the runt and will not eat at all. I have tried every thing. He has been to the vet, he is on medication. He keeps getting weaker and weaker every day. His gums are white and he is externally dehydrated. He weighs only 2.5 pounds from what the vet said. I'm scared I will loose him if I can not get him to eat so he can get plumper and hydrated.

If his gums are white this normally indicates he is very sick and I know you have had him to the vet but maybe you should call them again. I would prepare a mother's milk for him that is like his own mother's milk. it is easy to make and you can feed it to him easily to help out. I found one I used online that my puppies just loved. it had to do with some hot water, condensed milk no sugar, plain yogurt, and some mayonnaise. I would also call the vet again and see if they don't want to put the dog on an IV to help him.
he ended up passing last night but thank you so much if this is to happen again i will know what to do
So sad. Sending condolences.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Poor little pup.
I have two puppies and I had to hook one up to an IV because she and her brother were super dehydrated so I called the girl ivy because that is what saved her life because the mother rejected the puppies at 6 weeks and I am still trying to get their gums pink it has been 2 days they are starting to get color back but what do I feed them because I cant go to the store because of the virus I have creamer and some puppies soft food I mixed the creamer with water but they wont eat the soft food so we have to pure a soft food mixed with the creamer and water and put it in a syringe and dropped it on their toungue
I found that a high calorie nutritional gel
Works great for sickly puppies of just puppies who will not eat. It builds their appetites.
Squeeze a half teaspoon to a whole teaspoon ( depending on how big puppies is) on a regular spoon and puppies will lick it right up.
Maybe you can try to feed him through a syringe, if not, please call the Vet for help/follow up appointment. He needs to at least take in liquids!
First of all youyou should go to the store and get a baby medication syringe so that you can force-feed him to make sure that he gets it down.get a puppy milk powder and should mix it with the water as per directions say ,put it in that little syringe and shove it down his throat to make sure that he gets that food and stuff that he needs to survive because if we're talking about life and death you need to take charge and don't give the puppy a choice to eat you just got to make him eat
