Feeding a Dog Oatmeal?

I have a 2 year old Chihuahua. Is she allowed to eat 5 grain oatmeal?

Yes, a dog can eat a small amount of oatmeal if prepared correctly and with no additives such as sugar, milk, etc. As a treat, provide it sparingly as oatmeal in any form is not a natural food for dogs. Dogs are carnivores and will not survive on human diets.

Dogs are not carnivores, they are omnivores!
Cats are carnivores!

sorry they descend from wolves and have the same digestive system as wolves.both are carnivores,you only have to look at their teeth. yes they eat other things then meat but it doesnt alter the fact that dogs are carnivores.
