Felt Clip-on Harry Potter Ties

Supplies:

• cardstock, to create template
• golden yellow felt
• dark red felt
• snap barrettes (Affiliate Link)
• rotary cutter
• rotary mat
• scissors
• hot glue gun
• Harry Potter glasses (Affiliate Link)

Harry Potter glasses

Steps:

1. Create a tie template using cardstock. Stick the template to the red felt using rolled pieces of tape. Cut out the desired number of ties.

 

 
2. Using a rotary cutter to cut out thin strips of yellow felt. Then cut out strips that are twice of wide.

 
3. Using a glue gun, adhere the strips of yellow felt to each tie (as shown below). Once all of the strips are adhered, trim off the overhanging parts of each strip.

4. Next glue a snap barrette onto the back of each tie, near the top edge.
