The finches laid eggs in their food, what do I do? There are 3 eggs in there, do I move the dish? Do I add anything so they can cover them? Do I just leave them alone and see what happens?

I would leave them alone. They may be infertile eggs and that is why they are laid there.
I just wanted to check in and see how the eggs are and what happened.
Birds know if their eggs are viable or not and are usually (not always) but usually good at doing what is needed if they are viable.
I have friends who raise these lovely creatures and the rule they use is the mark the date the egg was laid and if after 20 days nothing happens, they carefully remove it. Now if it starts to smell, or other damage occurs, they remove it sooner, but they have a 20 day rule. I am not sure if that is just their rule or that is what all finch birders use. It works for them.
Hope things went well!!! Baby birds are just so sweet!!
