Where can I find this particular stuffed animal. It's vintage and I don't know about it except that it was sentimental to my brother and he lost it as a kid. I'm trying to get him another one.

It would help to know what year he played with it. Applause and Gund were popular in the 1970s, 80s and 90s.
I would suggest doing a search on eBay, put in a description and any marks or tags that you can remember. It is possible you might find the very stuffed animal you are looking for .
The first thing I would do is check eBay.com. I always go there to get the value of older items and/or to find photos to match the items I am looking for. You could try a specific search there, describing a bit the photos characteristics.
Check eBay.com by searching a description of that teddy bear with as much information as you can share.
I would also check with social media, because of its size of many, someone knows or could point you in the right direction. When posting, put in the approximate year/age of the piece, and state , just in case it is a local piece, Good Luck!
Knowing what year he is from would help. He looks like an unhappy bear--which to me resonates from the 1940s. More info would be helpful to help you figure out who he is and see if you can replace him. Let me know.
From the nose, your stuffed animal looks like a koala:

I think that you should look for such a toy using the name "vintage stuffed koala".
