Where's a good place to find cheap flights to the South?

I would go to www.expedia.com, fly on a week day and buy tickets as soon as you can, even if it's months in advance. It's really cheap. (01/22/2010)

Check with Southwest and hotwire. Southwest does not charge for the first two checked bags per person, which is something to consider nowadays, even if the fare might look cheaper elsewhere. We just paid $300 for four checked bags to fly round trip from CA to NY! Also, sign up with travel sites like Hotwire. They notified me via email when I could fly round trip to Hawaii last year for $315! Saturdays can now also be lower fare days. Good luck! (01/22/2010)
