There have been quite a few questions about the old selection program on WW and for my money, it's been the best and most direct plan ever. It actually worked. I lost my books (and my Lifetime Membership Card) some years back and I've seen there is a book on Amazon that has the old food lists etc in it. However, I'm just wondering if anyone has bought it and is it in Metric or Imperial? Will make it a lot harder if it's in Imperial. If it is, does anyone know where I can find it in Metric? Thanks!

I can't answer your question directly, but here are a few suggestions:
1) Ask your local librarians if the book has a metric version; they have access to databases to find things like this
2) Did you know you can type any customary/imperial measurement into the google search bar with "in metric"? For example: "2 tablespoons in metric" and it will return "120 mL"? Easy but time consuming the first time. (Also I might mention that the units in the original book most likely were American "customary", not "imperial"; these systems differ in some ways.)
3) Here is the link for many of her diet books, just in case you have any questions about or desire for different editions or recipes. www.amazon.com/
All really great suggestions. Yes, I do the conversion on google for other online recipes but it is very time consuming. We are still in lockdown here and libraries are closed so I will visit my library when they are open. Yes, some measurements are different. I think an US tablespoon is 20ml and in Australia it's 15ml. Or something like that! Thank you for taking the time to answer.

It seems you have found a book on Amazon but not sure if it is in metric or Imperial..
I would suggest you contact the seller and ask the question:
If you know the name of the book you might be able to find it on another site or even the library.
It would be easier for us to answer your question if you gave a link to this book or wrote the title, its author, year of publication.
Perhaps you mean the Weight Watchers Cook Book by Jean Nidetch 1966 www.amazon.com/
The recipes in this book use the Imperial system of measurement. I found this book on etsy.com
and there is a photo of a page with recipes www.etsy.com/
Hi and thanks Diana. There is no actual book. It was a plan devised over 6 weeks and every visit you were given a small booklet only available at the meetings for that weeks program. Not really sure if the small books are up for grabs anywhere or I suspect there may be a "overall" book.
