Last winter our heating bill ran almost 600 a month. We have insulated our home, but our windows freeze on the inside as well as the outside. We need to replace them, but I am disabled and my husband is 75 and we do not have the money to replace the windows or to pay 600 a month this winter. Does any one know where we could get some help.

Buy off the roll clear plastic at WalMart, for how many feet you need to put over the windows. Always use cardboard strips to roll side edges before stapling. This helps to seal tightly around the framework.
We have a sliding glass door, and my husband made a wood frame to fit around the outside of the door and stapled quality clear plastic over it. Another wood strip was nailed to the middle length of the frame so the width of the plastic would work.
Windows are expensive to replace so you may not be able find someone to donate this type of material or the amount of work it takes to do the job.
You can search the Internet (Google - how to cover windows for winter or something similar). You will find all kinds of inexpensive ideas. Many people are in your situation and have to look for ideas they can do for themselves.
It is good that you are starting early so you will be able to try several solutions before the cold weather arrives.
