Finding Free Furniture?

I have two children, my daughter is 14 and my son is 12. He will be 13 December 23rd. I am in need of some assistance with furniture. We have no beds, no couch, no kitchen table, nothing to sit on. My daughter has a bed and I have an air mattress that has a leak in it. I have no income; they just diagnosed me with borderline personality disorder, major depression, and a phobia. I applied for SSI and I'm still waiting for help. I don't know what else to do. Thank you.

Advertise your requirement in a local newspaper and mention that you will arrange for the transportation. Often people have furniture to discard and would gladly give it away if someone arranged to collect it.

If you have access to go online you should post a message on Craigslist and on your Facebook page explaining what you just wrote here and I'm sure you will collect more free furniture than you know what to do with.

I would go to the free section of Craigslist or register for an account on Nextdoor. It's free to do and there are many free items on both. Good luck!

Free furniture.

I would call your local churches they may help you. Also there is free-cycle.org.

If you're crafty, you can make furniture out of cardboard with a glue gun and it has to be made really thick. Look on youtube, you will be amazed.
Salvation Army should help.
