I'm looking for a nice clean used mattress and box springs. I just moved into an apartment and the person that was giving me a queen mattress and springs decided to keep it so I am looking. I also need a loveseat. My apartment is not that big, plus it's just me. If you can help me, with ideas of where to find these items, I would deeply appreciated it and God bless you. I'm in Latonia, Kentucky, 3 miles from Cincinnati, Ohio. Thank you.

The first place to check is with the Salvation Army. Got to their church office before going to the thrift store and ask for a voucher for the items you need. Then when you get the voucher go to their thrift store and if they have the items on hand you will be able to get the items listed on the voucher. You won't be able to pick from the best items that they have, but they will be usable. Also you can only get the absolute necessities, no electronics, etc. More than likely you will be responsible for transporting whatever you get. If you attend church on a regular basis speak to your pastor, he might know of people in the congregation that have extras taking up space.
Try looking on Freecycle.org, a site which gives away things in an effort to keep them out of landfills. Satisfy the joining requirement, and then you can ask for and get almost anything including furniture.
