We are a low income, 2 parent household with 4 children. We recently went thru a house fire and lost everything. We are in need of beds for 4 kids and ourselves, as well. Are there any furniture stores that donate furniture?

Many times, local chapters of the American Red Cross will help out folks who have escaped house fires. The Red Cross considers a fire to be a disaster, even if only one family or household is affected. The chapter may give out vouchers for clothing and furniture, if not the items themselves. Or it may have furniture and bedding that it can give you. Contact your local chapter for information.
Many thrift stores will donate to people in need.
You could try local churches as a quick place to stop and inquire. Online, I'd reach out through Nextdoor.com and see what's available.
HI, My name is Judi! I was recently this year in a fire and thankfully I got out safely but I finally have help to get another apartment but since I did not have any rental insurance I was not able to recover any furniture and I just had spent 5,000 to upgrade stuff in the apartment and now I have been in and out of motels and friends that I never have any extra money for furniture at all, so if any body knows what I can do, I'm in the Salem, mass area It will be greatly appreciated Thank you again!
I have furniture 3 twin beds 2 end tables and a couch I live in RI if to far that's ok
First thing to remember is that almost any place suggested will not deliver furniture so be sure you have a way to pick something up and enough help to pick it up and move into your new place.
Here is a site that may help you with children's bedding and they may deliver:
Ashley's Furniture

Check free stuff on Craigslist, Freecycle, and other local sites as well as Nextdoor.Com. You can also place wanted ads on these same explaining why you are in need and hopefully someone will respond.
You can check this site for help in your city: check half way down page.

I hope you have found some solutions.
Several people in our town have been in the same situation as you in the past two years and are slowly rebuilding.
They found limited help from the Red Cross and no help from local stores or businesses which was surprising. The churches in the community, on the other hand, were helpful.
The most helpful was that people were very generous when Go Fund Me accounts shared their harrowing stories. That was amazing!
People often don't know how to help, but with a Go Fund Me you can tell people what you need and how the money will be used.
You can also make note if you do want "things" like household items and clothing, but you have to have a place to have them delivered or stored until you can use them. There is a lot of flexibility in how you set up your narrative on the Go Fund Me page.
What I don't like about Go Fund Me is they take a percentage of the money donations. I get it, they need to make money and are offering a service, but still, I did not like that.
What I do like is people who have a smart phone or a tablet and want to help can do so with a few clicks.
Sending prayers that you find solutions!! Post back with an update.
