I have a 15 year old Pit Bull that is suffering and I can't afford any vet care at this moment. I was wondering if there was anywhere I can take him to have him put down for free. I can't handle it anymore he is suffering.
Thank you.

Research your local Humane Society and see their cost. For where I live it is $40. I could not find a free pet euthanasia service, but you could call and ask in your area and explain your situation or if they have a payment option for you?
I know the animal shelters can do this for you at a reasonable cost. This will dpened on your area and where you live. I would check there first.
There are organizations that will help with vet services when a 'parent' cannot afford to pay for needed services.
There are national organizations as well as local area sites that you can check to see if you qualify. Google - free vet care with your zip code and start checking local services first.
Check with your local Humane Society as they should have a list of organizations that offer free or low cost vet services. Most likely they will have this service also.
Here are some sites to check but it will take filling our forms so be prepared to spend some time applying for help.

Contact the SPCA or the Humane Society.
I live in sacramento ca 95815
Try your SSPCA
It is 50 dollars and probably the least expensive option.
If they won't work with you, perhaps you could do a go fund me account to help you pay for the services.
So sad for you and your pup. Prayers!
You don't say where you are located, but some vets offer reduced services if you ask. I don't know any that offer free services. If you post back where you are, I may have other suggestions.
Your pup has my prayers for an easy crossing over the rainbow bridge. So sad.
