If she can have her (or you) go to the local thrift shops and ask them for donations. They love to help and the extra PR is nice for them, should it come back to them.

Sounds like a good project for your mother and provides free items to another good cause.

• Write up a similar "ad" about your mother and place it in the free listings on your local Craigslist as well as Freecycle. There may be other sites in your area so search for sites with "free items" and your zip code.

• Also, a very good site is called Nextdoor so be sure and check for something in your neighborhood.
