Can anyone tell me of a free vet that will help my pup? She has worms and needs her shots and to be fixed. I have only had her for a week. A friend gave her to me. I don't want to get rid of her; my daughter will be heart broken.

You may want to try Vetcare Pet clinic at 12453 Valley View St. in Garden Grove. Phone is 714-895-8600. www.vetcarepetclinic.com
They do offer low cost vaccine clinic at several pet stores. Check out www.mobilepetcare.com for location near you and they do offer spay and neuter specials. (06/25/2010)

You might try a local animal shelter. The place where I got my dogs had a vet on staff. He was very helpful when my Doxie, who I only had for 5 days, injured his spine. (06/25/2010)

Try some of the local rescue groups. You can find them on petfinder.com. Some of them will pay for spay/neuter, or they know who will do it cheaper. Don't forget parvo shots right away. Good luck. Bless you for giving a home to that puppy. (06/26/2010)
