I lost my only child. I am having trouble coping. Although he was an adult, he really was all I had. Is there anyone else going through this pain?

There are many, many people who share your pain.
My best suggestion is to find a local support group. If you are in Pittsburgh I can point you to the best ones run by local funeral homes.
Many churches, synagogues, and mosques also have support groups, so that is another avenue to check.
There are also Facebook groups where you can share stories. Here is a list:
Mothers Who Have Lost A Child
Losing a child
Heartache and Hope: Life After Losing a Child
These groups can be helpful also...but they are social media so you may want to be careful what you share where.
You will be in my prayers for a healing heart. Take care of yourself!
Losing a child is one of lifes worst experiences. The Compassionate Friends has a website and local meetings. Many churches also have bereavement groups. There are also therapists who specialize in grief counseling
There are so many people who are in your situatiion and they find a lot of comfort meeting in support groups to talk about all this. The support groups really help and can help you feel better and bring some closure to your loss and pain.
