How can I enter my 82yr old mom in a contest to get help or remodel her home and/or repairs? She doesn't fit any government criteria for assistance. I've searched everywhere. Who can we contact to ask for a home remodeling project to my mom's house? My mom is amazing. She's always helping everyone in anyway she can. She is a God-fearing woman with a huge heart. She is always putting everybody else first instead of herself. She has a small 2 bedroom home in a nice diverse neighborhood. Who can we call or email our story to for help?
I do not know of any contests or programs designed like what you are asking. You could check with places like Habitat for Humanity, however, if she doesn't meet the government criteria for other programs, she probably won't for them either. Is there any way that family members can help her? Or perhaps she could just pay for one project at a time?
