I'm unsure how to find the expiration date on a bottle of Hershey's syrup. All I can find is a code on the bottom of it, saying #98N52 7J. I'm not sure what that means. Do those numbers indicate the expiration date? If so, how do I interpret it? Please help me out. I don't want to eat something that's expired.

If it is not opened, it lasts 2-3 years in the pantry. Once it is opened it should be refrigerated and will last 1-2 years.

I believe there is probably another number somewhere on the container that you may not see as it may be faded or ?
