My husband is disabled; I work part time and take care of my husband. My bathroom needs to be fixed. The shower and my floors in the bathroom and dining room are collapsing. I don't have any extra money to fix them. Last night an animal ate some of my roof and I believe it is in my ceiling. It is so hard and stressful when I can't fix the problems for my family. I always did fix everything until December. I no longer have my full time job that I have had for the past 20 years. So I need help. I usually don't ask for help. I have always been the person who gave the help to people.

Hi,
I would call United Way and the Salvation Army and see if they know of any programs that would be able to offer any assistance. Also look in the classified ad section of the newspaper and see if there are any handyman type ads. These might do work cheaper than hiring a contractor.
