Finding My Grandfather?

I am searching for my grandfather. I do not know his name. Is it possible for me to see birth records from where my father was born, to see if his father's name is anywhere in the records? I have tried just about everything online, but as I am not a US citizen, it's difficult. How can I see birth records from US hospitals?

Try ancestry.com You can see birth records from the country you live in. For an extra charge you can see birth records, as well as many other records from all over the world. It is a site for family tree making, but is great for finding people. There are restrictions on records for people who are still living, but not on individuals who are deceased. You get two weeks free, but are restricted to you own country. After that, the monthly charge for full access is around $30, a bit more for world access.

If you know the state and county where your father was born, the births and deaths are public record.
