Finding Pfaff 130 Articulating Lamp Screws?

I have a Pfaff 130 and articulating lamp. I am missing the screws that hold the bakelite shade to the base. Where can I buy some?

Do you have at least one of the screws?
If so, you may be able to take one to an Ace or True Value Hardware store and let them help you find a match.
No loose screw available?
Try Google with Pfaff sewing center (your zip code) and call to see if they have them.
Sometimes Michael's or JO Ann's has items like this or may know where to send you for help (they usually have a list of repair shops).

Here is one link that may have what you need:

There is a sewing forum that usually has answers for everything and also a good site to keep for future needs. You will have to join first.

I know these lamps come with instructions and in the instruction is the size of the screws that are used to build the lamp. If you have these instruction then you can go to any local hardware store and buy the screws that are needed to finish building your lamp. I am not sure where you are located but normally all towns these days have an ACE hardware store or even a home Depot. You can even find screws at a lot of local stores like Target or even drug stores. They sell boxes of screws that are different sizes in these types of stores.

I have two of the screws from another unit -- the thread is so incredibly small -- I could try Ace or True Value but i would be amazed if they have something is fine. Also -- do not know if it is metric. I have a screw guage but my guage doesn't go down to this small a screw.

I have 1 fully operational unit and 1 that would be fully operation if I get three screws and another where I just have the lamp and shade and missing the articulating support. Hoping to get three of these operational. You just never see these units on the market.

No instructions available. I can find nothing even discussing these lamps on any web site.

I do not know if you tried the Pfaff website or if you contacted a local Pfaff dealer:

I can almost guarantee that if you ask your question on this website someone will have them or know where to get them.

Sometimes these specialty items can only be found by true collectors.

I believe your machine was made in 1932 so you may also be able to get help from this group but you will have to join. You can join the free membership by following instructions on this page.

Here is another good forum to check out.
Most likely you will only find the genuine screw by someone on one of these sites helping you.

i see where several of these lights have been sold recently so I cannot help but believe you'll be able to find what you need but it will probably take some searching. I'm assuming this is the lamp(s) you have?

I did find this one seller on eBay that appears to sell a lot of Pfaff parts as well as other brands. You might contact him as he may just have some odd screws laying around (we all do when we sell parts) and maybe some like yours. You can contact him and ask..

I know there are similar lights but just in case, if you see a similar vintage work light at a thrift store you might want to check out the screws as you can always use another lamp - right?

This is what the lamp looks like on a Phaff 130. When this machine has both the lamp and the embroidery unit -- they seem to sell for a very high price.
