Where can I get giant boxes, like refrigerator boxes, for a cardboard tank I'm building? I'm a kid so I would need to be driven wherever I go. Please try to find some in the Peekskill, NY region. It would be much appreciated! Thanks!

You can contact a stoe like Home Depot who sell refrigerator or even stoves to people. I think Best Buy also sells these items. If they are delivered to a person's home the truck driver normally brings back the boxes to the store. I am not sure what they do with them. A lot of stores now break them down and recycle them. I would go to Best Buy and see if the owner of the store will set aside one or two of these large boxes for you after they make a delivery.
I hope you know you will probably need a van or a pickup truck to pick up these large boxes. This size box is also heavy and will probably need at least two people to load them.
As information; most of the large stores sell all of their cardboard and they use a strapping machine to bundle it. You will see their bundles awaiting pickup in the rear of their stores but it may still be possible - not sure about that.
I do know that smaller furniture stores will usually accommodate a request like this if you find out their delivery dates.
Google furniture stores with your zip code and see if any stores are near you. Smaller stores have refrigerator, stove, bed, and other appliance boxes and usually just dump them in a large area behind their store waiting for later pickup.
Check with Appliance and home improvement stores, furniture stores. Call early in the morning before deliveries . Tell them what you need , and also explain that you are a kid.
Call warehouse, electronic, furniture stores around you. You could also ask an adult to post on NextDoor to see if anyone in your neighborhood as very large boxes.
I would check the BoxGiver platform. Theres always a bunch of people on there giving away cardboard boxes and unwanted packaging materials. Hope this helps.
