I am looking for a crochet pattern "Shell Stitch Set No. 2805". It is a one piece baby sweater that is worked from side to side. It's a pattern from around 1970. I have a copy that is difficult to read.
Please try this, type it into Google and or Pinterest...Pinterest has a lot of vintage patterns. I also have many many vintage patterns if u have a picture, that would help tremendously. Good luck
I have that pattern. I am going to copy it as it needs rejuvenating.
Paper is torn on the edges. Do you remember the book it came out of. Was it Bernat?

I am looking for a reversible crochet afghan with 2 colors and i think its sc but one color is laid across the chain and you crochet over it and next row is the same only you reverse the colors. I have been looking for this pattern for years as I made it in the 70s.
Have you tried the Vintage Pattern Files for your pattern? If I had a better idea what the finished afghan looked like it would make it easier for me to find your exact patter. You can start here: thevintagepatternfiles.blogspot.com/
I would also suggest searching on Craftsy's website. They have over 90.000 free patterns to choose from. You will need to create an account to search for your pattern. Here is the link to the site: www.craftsy.com/
