I need a bed frame for my room. My ex left me and my 2 young kids for another woman and I'm unable to get one right now. The one I have had for years is breaking down at the legs. I have a mattress.

Freecycle is a good place to start. There are people in your area who are listing free stuff online using this site. You can check there first to see if you can locate one in your area. You can also post on the site asking for one and if anyone has one laying around they can contact you.
