I need to find vol. number 10 from Grolier's Book of Knowledge 1950 series or newer it's a 20 vol set. My number 10 got destroyed. Any ideas where to search?

It is very difficult to find one specific volume but you can create an sign in (free) at Abe's Books and place it on your wanted list on their site.
This site sells a lot of books and especially encyclopedias so someone may have this volume and they all read the wanted ads.
This is not the only site but it may be your best shot at finding one volume.

Sets on eBay (1950) are selling for $60-$200 plus shipping but occasionally they will have sellers listing single volumes. You can click on at "advance" near the top of the listings and follow instructions to be notified if anyone lists one of these volume. Sometimes it is difficult to pin down an exact match so you may get more "notices" than you want but you always cancel the request.
Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and Google are your best resources.
I suggest setting up a google alert, and then if one comes up on one of these, or another site, you will be notified.
