I see VCRs at just about every yard sale I go to. They are usually $5 or less.
Since it is not yard sale time (at least where I am), perhaps if you put a wanted note on NextDoor or Facebook, you will be gifted (or pay very little) from a friend or neighbor.
Hope you find one quickly!!
Hi,
It is possible that the local library might have a VCR to borrow, and tapes to borrow with them. Also, I would search e bay to find VCR and accessories that you want.
Look on Craigslist, Freecycle, letgo OfferUp, thrift stores and garage sales.
I recently acquired an older model VCR so that I could play some "gifted" National Geographic sets and they play out really well so I can see why you would like to have one.
Nextdoor is great because it is within your area - ads are usually always free and very easy to post. Just let them contact you by email so you can meet them on your terms - list it with no address or telephone number or even full name.
