We have a charity school in Uganda where we are providing students with free educational services, but we are having a problem with a lack of desks. They have to squeeze themselves like five people on one desk. I would like someone to help us with free desks so that we can create a conducive learning environment for them. Any suggestions?

Perhaps you can partner with global crowd sourcing services like this one, Global Giving:
This will apply to the other post you had about getting fabric.
Partnering with a global program will be best for getting you what you need as you can draw from many locations and sources.
If you have religious organizations in your community, perhaps they can assist you with getting funding from religious crowd sourcing entities...like here in the US Catholic Charities helps people with a variety of needs--it is a national program and you can talk to your priest and he can get you in touch with the local office...I would hope where you are there are similar structures.
Post back with updates! Prayers to you for your ventures!!
Freecycle.org is a worldwide organization. You can put a wanted ad on there.
You should be looking for someone to furnish material and find someone in your community to build your desks.
Ready made desks will probably cost too much for someone to supply free but you may be able to talk with a manager in a lumber yard that will supply some of the materials.
If you have to make use of 'used' material you may be able to acquire some oil cloth or linoleum to cover the desk as this make good working surfaces and easy to clean.
This was a project that I worked on in another country and the children loved their new desks. They wanted the "money" spent on new reading books so they were happy to be involved.
