Can you please advise me on the value of a 12 book set of Popular Science by the Grolier Society?
Unless it is over 100 years old and complete, its probably not worth much.
Many people have old books they think are valuable and would like to sell. Most old dictionaries, references etc., have very little value, a few dollars at most. Encyclopedias dated after 1923 are essentially worthless but crafters may be interested for the old pictures. Libraries, Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc., receive donations of tons of old encyclopedias, dictionaries and reference books but send them to recycling centers or dumps as they cannot use or sell them.

I have a 10 volume hardback set of Popular Science, copyright 1977, Grolier. How can I find out what they are worth?

Like general encyclopedia, I would bet that they are not worth anything. You could try a second hand bookstore, or offer them on Kijiiji or Freecycle.
I have a complete set of The Book of Popular Science, copyright 1961 by Grolier Inc. Can you tell me the value of this set and where I would look to sell it? Thank you!
