I found these three mid century coffee tables in a yard sale. It looks like it's designed by Lou Hodges, but I'm not sure. How do I find out the value of each table?
First off you need to make sure these are Lou Hodges coffee tables. You'll need to find the marking on the underside or bottom of the tables. Try and find out if these are actually Lou Hodges.
Look for a year it was manufactured and maybe it can tell you the wood used also. These are all important if you want to find the true value of the table.
I could give you a value of the table, but if it isn't a Lou Hodges it wouldn't do much good and it wouldn't be the value of your table.
If its the real deal, you did very well. One of the tables is worth $749.
Go on E-Bay and tell them what kind of tables they are and they will e-mail you when they are listed.
Here's a link to eBay. They are worth 600 dollars.
I just discovered a couple of these in a goodwill years ago and just really appreciated their style. Im just now realizing they might be worth something. What would the markings under the table resemble to know if its authentic? TIA!
