Gold Post Medal for All Time! 555 Posts This easy project is a wonderful wedding reception memory. Instead of signing a guest book, guests are invited to make their thumbprint on a picture of a tree. You can use your wedding colors or a rainbow of colors! Some can sign their first name next to the thumbprint with a fine point pen if desired too. Afterward the bride and groom have a great first piece of personal art for their new lives together!
It can really be used at any party as a nice memento!
Total Time: 30 minutes
Supplies:
- mat or frame
- paper that fits inside of mat or frame
- markers
- tray of watercolor paints OR water soluble ink pads
- fine point pens
Steps:
- Sketch a simple tree outline. It doesn't have to be realistic and can have sparse branches (see photo).
- Letter the names of the bride and groom or guest of honor at your party and their special date.
- Place in mat or frame without glass.
- Leave out at reception table inviting guests to dip into paint then make their fingerprint on the tree branch.
- Optional:You may invite them to sign their name next to their print if they'd like with a fine tip pen you have available there. Have the guests of honor of a few family members create a few on the tree so guests know what to do!

Thanks!
My daughter will treasure it in her new home as a nice memory of her wedding! Makes me happy to think she'll fondly remember her guests!
