First Communion Centerpiece?

I'm doing a First Communion for my kids, a boy and a girl. I have a white basket with fake flowers and I want to add things to it to make it beautiful can you give some ideas?

You could glue some inexpensive lace or ribbon (or both) around the edge of the basket. Then I usually head out into the yard to cut some fir or pine, or maple leaves for greens. Remember to cut fresh things right before you need them. Some will stay fresh, but some will not. If you like glitter try painting some dried twigs and painting them with glue and then rolling them in glitter.

If your kids have/get candles for First Communion, put those in with the other decorations. We decorated our own candles (godparents and mom) for each of my kids, and I still have them.
